The Economic Development Authority (EDA) advises the Council on projects relating to development in Dodge Center. The EDA also assists in community promotions and advertising in the City.
The City of Dodge Center and the Dodge Center Economic Development Authority (EDA) announce the creation of a New Housing Incentive Program. The City will waive $1,250 in water and sewer connection fees, as well as the first $750 in building permit fees. The EDA will provide $500 to offset building permit costs as well, bringing the total value of the incentive to $2,500.
The waivers are only available for the construction of new homes and will not apply to repairs or expansions of existing homes. The EDA waiver is limited to the first ten applicants. For more details, contact City Hall at 507-374-2575.
